The Curse of the Jade Scorpion

Hey ok we have one very funny but screwed up person acting in this film--Woody Allen. I gave this film 3 stars. I could have given more but it just kept going on and on and I fell asleep so it became boring. The funny parts were very funny. I still think Allen is a pedophile for marrying his own adopted daughter. What a freak. That's a great way to represent the morality of the country. Nut. The movie has nothing to do with his personal life though so lets not talk about that for now. Allen and Helen Hunt end up working together back in 1940. Allen is a detective. He's one of the firms best. Helen Hunt is hired on because she's screwing the boss. The boss has promised to leave his wife etc. Allen has a crush on Helen but Hunt thinks he's a little nasty looking frog. So do most people. The firm ends up going out to dinner and there's a hypnotist who decides to pick people from the audience randomly and he picks Allen and Hunt. Allen and Hunt become hypnotized and then unhypnotized. They go on with their lives. Unfortunately the Hypnotist forgot to undo the secret spell so he calls up Allen over the telephone and says the magic word which is "Constantinople" Allen goes into a trance and the Hypnotist has both Hunt, who responds to "Madagascar" and Allen rob people of their expensive jewelry. Neither remembers a thing when it's all over. The hypnotist ends up getting in trouble in the end and yada yada yada. You get the picture. This movie is good. Go see it for laughs. Allen has problems but he's a good actor.
