The statue of Chenrezi might also be referred to as Avalokiteshvara. He is the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Chenrenzi embodies our innate and original compassion, kindness and generosity. Chenrenzi is the full and immediate embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas and of all beings. It is understood that the confused beings of today are none other than the Buddhas of the Future.
